Obituary

Clara Faye Fisher passed away at her home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Friday, October 9, 2020, at the age of 73 years.
Clara was the daughter of Clarence & Eva (Matney) Arnold, born on October 18, 1946, on South Dogwood Street in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. At a young age she, along with her parents and three older brothers, moved out west to California, where she was raised in the Fort Bragg area. There, her first three children were born to Bob Crow. She was married on May 26, 1968 to Ralph Fisher, who had six children, and they had one child together. They lived in several places around the country raising their children and pursuing the life they enjoyed. She and Ralph settled in Okmulgee to live out their days surrounded by family, friends, and countless loved ones. They were blessed with forty-five years together before Ralph passed away on January 25, 2014.
Clara was a natural born nurturer. She was certified as an LPN in 1995 at Green Country VoTech, but her love of caring for others extended far beyond the duties of her profession. She loved people, and enjoyed having parties and entertaining guests with trivia, games, and good food. Some of her favorite things were reading, travel, cooking, painting, crochet, crossword puzzles, dining out, and restoring houses. She loved singing, listening to good music, and seeing her grandchildren in church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Eva Arnold; her husband of 45 years, Ralph Fisher; two sons, Michael E. Fisher and Ralph L. Fisher, and daughter, Johnnie Sue Fisher Ayers; her daughter-in-law Sheila Crow.
She is survived by six children: Don Fisher and his children, Delta Rupe and Casey Fisher; Ernest Fisher; Darrell & Melissa Crow and their children, Zachary Crow and Jennifer Bennet; Brian & Raamya Crow and their children, Samuel Crow, Nicholas Crow, and Elisabeth Crow; Tommie & Kevin Centers; David & Joy Crow and their children, Joshua Crow, Benjamin Crow, and Christopher Crow; Henry Fisher & Christie DeWitt and their children, Nathan Fisher, Blake Griffin, Evan Fisher, Jake Fisher, and Mason Fisher; other grandchildren included are: Ralph Fisher III, Stephanie Daniels, Desiree Simms, Sharon Carbone, Jerob Fisher, Michael Fisher, Renee Knapp, Jubilee McClendon, Don Fisher, Jan Fisher, Joshua Ayers, and Mary Ayers; dozens of great grandchildren; other family members and many friends; she was loved as a mother figure by Todd Hunter and countless others around the country.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 17, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at World Outreach Center of Okmulgee, and Clara was laid to rest at Tate Mountain Cemetery in Wewoka at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Fisher officiating.
