Christopher Daniel Edwards was born August 31,1988 and left this world October 09,2021 at the age of 33 years.

He is survived by Parents: Terri & Paul O'Dell, Jr.; 2 Brothers: Collin Edwards & (wife) Shannon and Mason Alexander; Grandmother: Shirley Williams; Uncle & Aunt: Daniel & Amanda Williams; Sisters: Jennifer, Valerie, Laura Edwards; Grandfather: Paul O'Dell, Sr.; Sister: Diane Sanders & (husband) Lance; Brother: Matthew O'Dell & (wife) Mariah, Ashley McNabb; Uncle & Aunts; Ron & Jennifer O'Dell, Margie Disher, Sharla Thomas.

If you were counted as a friend at all, to him you were family & nothing less. Christopher loved children & animals & had a special connection with both. At times, he would bring home strays to give them a home; because a wandering 6 weeks old, black cat would follow him home, not just a few weeks before he left us. He said, "Mom I couldn't just leave him outside." Or, he'd spend all his time & attention playing with his nieces & nephews, who he saw frequently in his last few years. More often than not, the kids would often get the best of him with their horsing around and playing, mostly because of how energetic they were. He'd tell them, "Hold on!" as he'd try to catch his breath because he was "fat & old", as he would tell them while huffing & puffing.

Some of us would remember things about him in how we knew him & grew up with him. But one thing I can tell you about him, he would rather laugh off an uncomfortable situation than to cause anymore strife or heartache that there may have been at the time. He was hard working by nature, & anything he sought after, he did it. The qualities that this man had, most people would beg to have even a fraction of it in their lives, but for Bubba, it came very natural to him. When push came to shove, you could see the virtues he had; his honesty, loyalty, his giving nature, & like most men, he had a tender heart that he didn't show very much. He was good at hiding his feelings from most people & tried to be tough. But to the few of us that really knew him, you could see right through him, all the way down to the inside of who he really was & right into his heart. You could see that he was just like everybody else. He was a good & kind man with a gentle spirit that just wanted a good woman to love, & a family of his very own to care for.

Christopher is preceded in death by his grandfather Melvin Williams, grandmothers Edith Cody, & Beverly O'Dell, as well as his brother, Paul O'Dell III.
