Obituary

Chad Alan Hamilton passed away in Oklahoma City on Monday, September 10, 2018, at the age of 41 years.

Chad was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma on October 17, 1976 to Lloyd Gene Hamilton & Jacalyn (Carter) Hamilton. He was brought up and attended schools in Holdenville, and graduated Holdenville High School with the Class of 1995. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater for a year and a half, then dropped out to help care for his ailing father, who passed away in 2002.

Chad resumed his studies at East Central University in Ada, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2008. He worked twelve years at the Davis Correctional Facility in Holdenville, beginning as Correctional Officer and working up to Case Manager. He married Loryn Davenport in Wewoka, Oklahoma on March 17, 2012, and they made their home in Seminole. For the past eight years, he worked for Enviro Systems in Seminole as a Customer Relations Specialist.

Chad loved making people laugh. Some of his favorite things were traveling - especially to the beach - watching OSU football, and going on motorcycle trips with his son, Justin. He was of the Baptist faith. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Hamilton.

He is survived by his wife, Loryn Hamilton, of the home; four children: Justin Hamilton, Morgan Hamilton, Cooper Hamilton, and Parker Hamilton, all of the home; his mother and stepfather, Jacalyn & John Hooper of Holdenville; his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew & Elaine Hamilton of Atwood; his sister, Beth Clark of Madill; nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 13, 2018, 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Seminole, with John Hooper officiating. Pallbearers were Justin Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton, Auston Hamilton, Colt Hickerson, Cody Davenport, and Sawyer Huff.
