She was born May 8, 1929 to Harry and Alice Taylor in New York. She married Roy Leon "Shorty" Crawford in December of 1946 in New York and later married James Gilbert Duggins in 1996.
Celia led a full and wonderful life raising six of her own children and at least 20 other children in need of love and guidance. She was very civic minded as well. She managed the Bus Station and owned a Doughnut Shop in Holdenville. Through her businesses, she met and cared for a lot of Holdenville families. She enjoyed reading books, and read to children at the library when she could. Celia wrote a weekly column for the Holdenville, Konawa and Wewoka newspapers called "The Busybody" and later the "Sasakwa Busybody" for over 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy "Shorty" Crawford; her mother, Alice Smith; youngest daughter and namesake, Celia Margret Crawford; son, Bill "Krash" Crawford; second husband, James Gilbert Duggins; stepson, John Crawford.

She loved all her children - never a step or in-law or previous marriage label to be spoken.
Funeral services will be at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roger McElroy officiating. Interment will be at Holdenville Cemetery following the service.
