Carolyn Ruth Arnn passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Carol was the daughter of Clifford & Thelma (Edwards) Rogers, born on July 29, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas.

She was brought up in the Yeager community and lived for several years in the Holdenville area. She attended Wewoka High School and later earned her GED. She was married to George Arnn on March 17, 1973 in Reno, Nevada, and they lived in Holdenville until moving to Elk City, their home since 1980. Carol was co-owner and cook at Sisters Café in Elk City and also worked for several years as a nurse's aide at Hensley Nursing Home. She retired after working for many years as a cook for Holiday Inn. She enjoyed being indoors with her embroidery and  sewing, or outside doing yard work, especially taking care of her flowers. She enjoyed camping. One of her favorite things was decorating her house for every holiday, and eventually she took over decorating her daughter's house. She dearly loved her family and attended every game, concert, or any other activity she could possibly attend, and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Arnn, and their son, Michael Arnn; her parents, Clifford & Thelma Rogers, and stepmother Eunice Rogers; sister Karen Bridges, and three brothers: Robert Rogers, Bud Rogers, and Charles Coleman; brother-in-law Don Henley and sister-in-law Jeanie Rogers; two nephews, Daryl Rogers and Dylan Rogers; great nephew Cliff Rogers; great great granddaughter Ashley Sanford.

She is survived by four children: Wayne Arnn and wife Sherri, Dee Garner, Brian Arnn, and Lisa Holford and husband Les; grandchildren: Amanda Adams (Shane), B. J. Allen, Sarah Fenimore, Nicholas Arnn (Jolee), Kari Selph (Will), Jana Arnn (Drew), Derek Carr (Stacey), Matthew Holford (Erin), Meghan Johnson (Ashton), Brea Chadwick; great grandchildren: Hailey (DJ), Theo, Kamden, Lilly, Jayzen, Raelyn, Dani, Kaleb, Molly, Daltin, Erika, Warren, Wesley, Mason, Tori, Josh, Emberly, Cannon; great great grandson Jackson; siblings: Gene Rogers, Cleta Henley, Nita Roberts, David Rogers (Lisa), Jimmy Rogers, Marvin Rogers (Debbie), Tommy Rogers; a host of nephews and nieces, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held onThursday, May 18, 2023, 1:30pm at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and Carolyn was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma, with Rev. Kevin Fisher officiating. Pallbearers were Jeremy Rogers, Jason Rogers, Denver Rogers, Daniel Rogers, Bryton Washington, Jarrad Rogers, and Cody Rogers. Honorary pallbearers were Matthew Holford, Nicholas Arnn, B. J. Allen, and Derek Carr.
