Obituary

Bobby Leon Dilbeck Sr. passed away in Holdenville on Friday evening, October 3, 2014,
at the age of 64 years.

Bobby was the son of Winfrod & Mildred (Stiffler) Dilbeck, born on November 25, 1949,
in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in Garland, Texas.
He married Sharon Lee Hibben in Garland on October 6, 1966, and they were blessed with five children: Angie, Wendy, Bobby Jr., Misty, and Penny. Bobby & Sharon moved their family to Holdenville in 1970.

Bobby worked as a police officer in Holdenville, Allen, and Wewoka. He enjoyed guns and shooting and target practice, and visiting uptown with friends at the local coffee shops.
He loved spending time riding his motorcycle out on the open road, and he loved spending time with his grandkids. Most important to him for the past few years has been taking care of his wife Sharon, confined to the nursing home in poor health. He was devoted to his family, and they were devoted to him. He was much loved and will be sorely missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfrod 'Windy' & Mildred Dilbeck; one granddaughter, Mackenzy Rose Kirkendoll; brother Ronald Eugene Dilbeck; nephew Jay Eugene Johnson.

He is survived by five children:

Survived by five children: Angie Allen (Calvin) of Crossett, Arkansas, Wendy Dilbeck (Jimmy Keefer) of Seminole, Bobby Dilbeck Jr. (Angela) of Holdenville, Misty Kirkendoll (Matt) of HV, and Penny Dilbeck (Tom Walton) of HV; twelve grandchildren: Chelsea Allen, Brandon Allen, Ashley Keefer, Tiffany Keefer, Bobby Dilbeck III, Christopher Dilbeck, Alyssia Dilbeck, Randy Dilbeck, Matilyn Kirkendoll, Mayleigh Kirkendoll, Jazmine Walton, and Jordynn Walton; three great grandchildren: Tyler Scull, Jonathan Scull, Marcus Edgell III; one sister, Charlotte Johnson of Wewoka; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
