Bill Pack passed away at his home in Holdenville on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the age of 78 years.

Bill was the son of Lester & Myrtle (Lancaster) Pack, born on July 29, 1936, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, where he was brought up and attended schools. He married Pattie Luna on May 5, 1956, in Van Buren, Arkansas. They lived in the Wetumka area for many years, with the exception of a short time in southern California. They have made their home in Holdenville for the past thirteen years.

Bill worked hard all his life, beginning as a small boy working in the cotton fields, and cutting springs for Mr. Autry. He spent his adult life working in construction, everything from buildings to bridges. His favorite things were hunting and fishing, and riding horses. He was a member of the Bit & Spur Club in Wetumka. He loved his grandchildren, and among their many fond memories are the ones of riding horses with Bill in parades and various other area events.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Lester & Myrtle Pack; two grandsons, Travis Pack on May 30, 2002, and Joshua Pack on August 27, 2006; two brothers.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Pattie, of the home; three children: Curtis Pack of Holdenville, Barbara Blair (Jason) of Lamar, and Odell Pack of Holdenville; two grandchildren, Kristi Gore and Jeremy McConnell (Amber), all of Holdenville; six great grandchildren: Austin Pack, Kelsey McConnell, Ryan McConnell, Kayden McConnell, Piper Gore, and Easton Gore; four brothers and one sister; numerous nieces and nephews, various other family members, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, with Rev. Joe Wallace Bruner officiating. Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday evening, March 2, at 7:00 p.m.
