Bill Jull Norton
(February 22nd 1935- March 25th 2015)
Bill Jull Norton passed away at his home in Holdenville on Wednesday, March 25th 2015, with his wife Mary Frances by his side.
Bill was the son of Luther Franklin and Neva Jewell Norton (Null), Born in Dustin OK on February 22nd 1935. He grew up in Holdenville OK where he attended Moss and Capitol Heights. Bill's favorite things in life were taking care of his family and being down on the Creek Bank with his Fishing Poles. He Loved his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and loved having them around him.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Franklin and Neva Jewell Norton; three sisters: Verta May Norton, Linda Sue Wiggeas, Mary Ann Norton, and two brothers, Troy Gene Norton and David Walter Norton; his daughter, Ruth Ann Norton, and two sons, Frankie Norton and David Wayne Norton.
He is survived by his brother Jimmy 'JD' Norton of Holdenville OK, sister Velma Towsend of Indiana, his half brother Gene Norton of Norwalk CA, and his beloved wife of 55 years Mary Frances (Moore); Five children: Brenda Darham (Charlie) of Enid OK, Rose Ann Farris (Ron) of Watonga OK, Billy Joe 'Little Billy' Norton (Albert) of Port Saint Lucie FL, Rosa Padilla of Phoenix AZ, and Mary Ellen 'Baby Girl' Talamante (Nelson) of Enid OK.
Bill has 6 grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Thompson of Vero Beach FL, Billy Farris of Enid OK, JD Estep of Enid OK, Autum Marie Talamante of Enid OK, Irene Murillo and Gilbert Murillo of Phoneix AZ; Bill is proud to have three Great grandsons: Jaymes Evert Gray Thompson, Masen Riley Thompson, Aiden Wyatt Turner, and one Great grandaughter on the way, Lily Harper Thompson, all of Vero Beach FL.
Bill also has numerous nieces and nephews, various family members and many friends all of over the US.
Bill was a hard working man all of his life taking care of his family. He worked at the RC Cola in Enid OK. After that he went to work for the Traffic Control Department in Enid OK, then retired from working at Stanleys Wrecker and Salvage Yard in Enid OK. You could always find him down at the bait store, buying bait for his next fishing trip.
A memorial service will be held at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel at 2:00 pm on April 2nd, with his son Billy Joe Norton officiating. Then following the service he will be laid to rest next to his Mom and Dad at the Lamar Cemetery.
