Bill Dwane 'Bill' Conley passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 79 years.

Bill is the son of Marlin 'Preacher' Conley & Linda Marie (Null) Conley, born on August 24, 1945, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. In his younger years the family lived in Lawton, where at the age of five Bill was selling newspapers and shining shoes for officers at Fort Sill. He moved to the Wewoka area and lived there for most of his life. He married Janice Sue Johnson in Wewoka on March 22, 1974. He worked for many years as a roughneck in the oil field and then as assistant kiln supervisor at Commercial Brick in Wewoka, retiring from the plant in 2010. He enjoyed gardening and traveling, particularly road trips to visit family in Lawton. He was planning a trip he never got to make, to Buc-ee's to buy fifty pounds of beef jerky. He read his Bible and ministered in jails for many years and was known for speaking his mind without fear. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marlin 'Preacher' & Linda Conley; his wife of forty years, Janice Sue Conley; two brothers, L. D. Conley and Monte Conley; two daughters, Alice Leach and Maryetta Westbrook.

He is survived by three children: Marcilla Talton (Byron) of Earlsboro, Linda Rhinehart (Robert) of Wetumka, and Connie Chesser of Holdenville; nine grandchildren: Christian Harrison, Angelica Lemon, Hailey Hurrelbrink, Anthony Jackson, Sheena Cole, Leonard Dooley IV, Joshua Dooley, Adam Chesser, and Tim Chesser; eleven great-grandchildren: Trist-n, Zamarius, Aubrey, Dontreal Jr, Braylon, Aubrielle, Zavier, Ahriah, Lincoln 'Chief', Anthony Jr, and Arrana; four brothers: Allen Conley and Bob Conley, both of Lawton, Frank Conley and Mike Conley, both of Holdenville; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 9, 2025, 11:00am at Gleaners Holiness Church in Wewoka, and Bill was laid to rest at Lamar Cemetery. Rev. Marcilla Talton and Rev. Daniel Lemon were the officiating ministers. Pallbearers were Sheena Cole, Angelica Lemon, Daniel Lemon, Trist-n Tyler, Zamarius Walls, Byron Talton, A. J. Jackson, and Christian Harrison. Honorary pallbearers were James Whisenant, Allen Conley, Mike Conley, Frank Conley, and Richard Hall.
