Beckham James Smith, infant son of Pazli Smith and Joseph Burge, passed from this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of five months. Beckham was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on August 21, 2023. He was a bright ray of sunshine gone too soon, but his sweet memory will always light our lives.

Beckham is preceded in death by his great-great-grandparents, Eb & Lorene Martin.

He is survived by his mother, Pazli Smith, and his father, Joseph Burge; his brother, Bentley Wayne Thomas Burge; maternal grandmother Kim Martin (Jason Smith) of Calvin; paternal grandmother Amy Hickerson (John) of Holdenville, and paternal grandfather Shawn Burge of Norwalk CA; maternal great grandparents Jerry & Odessa Martin of Calvin; paternal great grandparents Patti Burge of Norwalk CA, Darlene Hickerson of McAlester, and Cynthia Minter of Apple Valley CA; aunts and uncles: Kelly Smith, Alissa White, Jacob Hickerson, Brianna Molet, Jessica Patterson, and Sierra Moore; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 8, 1:00pm at Calvin First Baptist Church, and Beckham was laid to rest at Calvin Cemetery.
