Annette Michele Baker passed away in an automobile accident in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. She was 58 years old.
Annette was the daughter of Robert & Velda (Cook) Doyle, born on July 28, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was brought up in California, and graduated Downey High School with the class of 1978. She was married to Dennis Baker and they had two daughters, Kat and Brenda.
Annette moved from Moreno Valley, California to Holdenville in the 1990s. With the exception of a few months she spent in Colorado, Holdenville has been her home for more than 20 years. She worked at various jobs, including Wal Mart, Tyson, Seminole Rehab Nursing Center, and Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, where she was employed at the time of her death. She attended the House of Prayer Church. She loved reading her Bible, doing cross stitch, and more than anything she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert &Velda Doyle, and her husband, Dennis Baker.
She is survived by two daughters, Kat Baker and Brenda Dugger (Kenneth), and three grandchildren: Keshaun Hill, Kenny Dugger, and Autumn Dugger, all of Holdenville; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Baker of Colorado and Linda Finnicum of Arizona; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Memorial services were held at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019, with Rev. Bill Chesser and Rev. Dane Robinson officiating.
