Amy Ginnel Talley passed away in Holdenville on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the age of 35 years.
Amy was the daughter of Eugene & Virginia (Hahn) Talley, born on March 23, 1978, in Edina, Minnesota, where she was brought up and graduated high school. She met her fiancé, George 'G. J.' York Jr. in Amery, Wisconsin, and the two of them lived there for three years before moving to Holdenville in 2011. Amy has been employed for the past few years by McDonald's in Holdenville.
Amy enjoyed cross stitch and crossword puzzles. She loved cats and dogs. In spite of poor health, she persevered and worked as long as she could. She was much loved and will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Virginia Talley
Survivors include her fiancé, G. J. York, and his parents, George & Marlene York, all of Holdenville; her brother, Jason Talley, of Arizona; her grandmother, Kathryn Coggin of Superior, Wisconsin; two nieces, Jade and Jaslin; extended family members, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel.
