Alice Virginia Kirkland's Obituary
Alice Virginia Kirkland passed away in Wewoka, Oklahoma on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the age of 86 years.
Virginia was the daughter of Bill & Alice (Boatman) Williams, born on March 29, 1932, in Cromwell, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Cromwell, and lived her entire life in the Cromwell and Wewoka area.
Virginia was married to John Kirkland. She worked for more than forty years at Big Yank clothing manufacturing company in Wewoka. She loved doing yard work and growing flowers.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Williams and Alton Williams; two sisters, Bernice Breece and Carlene Piguet.
She is survived by one brother, Willie Williams, and one sister-in-law, Oleta Williams; also by her close friend, Marshall Gaines.
Graveside services were held and Virginia was laid to rest at Little Cemetery, Little OK, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
