Obituary

Alexander Warren 'Alex' Yahola passed away in Holdenville on Friday, December 20, 2013, at the age of 41 years.

Alex was born to Annie Ruth Yahola on November 23, 1972, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was brought up in Wewoka and attended Yeager schools.

He worked for a short while in the medical field as a CMA until he became physically disabled.

Alex enjoyed reading, and he loved to play guitar and listen to music, especially Rock music, Ozzie Osborn in particular.

He was a member of Pecan Grove United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Yahola, and his grandparents, Alex & Minnie Yahola.

He is survived by one brother, Charles Marshall, of Midwest City; four aunts: Betty Tiger and husband Malcomb, of Holdenville, Virginia Powell of Seminole, Ella Matthews and husband Mark, and Imogene Ingraham, all of Tulsa; four uncles: Louis Yahola and wife Hepsey of Seminole, Benjamin Yahola and wife Donna, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jonas Yahola and wife Retta, and Raymond Yahola, all of Tulsa; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 27, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, and Alex will be laid to rest in the Yeager Cemetery. Rev. Paul Fixico is the officiating minister. Pallbearers are Tim Postoak, Jeff Powell, Jason Yahola, Frank Yahola, Richmond Tiger, and Louis Yahola Jr.

Wake will be Thursday, December 26, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at Lillye Chapel.
