Aaron Daniel
'Moon' Leader
September 4, 1980 – January 12, 2026
Aaron Daniel 'Moon' Leader was born on September 4, 1980, in Okemah, Oklahoma to parents Brigita Leader and Michael Deer. He passed away from this life on January 12, 2026, in Seminole, OK, at the age of 45.
Aaron loved sports and was a very competitive opponent. He was outstanding football player at Allen High School, excelled in many other sports. He was a committed OU fan; he was already training his son (soon as he was walking) in basketball and football. He was a jokester and enjoyed a good laugh.
Aaron worked for the Commercial Brick Plant and was a very hard worker. Aaron's dedication to his work was evident when he walked from Seminole to Wewoka when his car broke down. He was always willing to help his dad with lawn work during the summer. He was a kind and helpful individual, who would always help others when he could.
Aaron was a loving son, father, nephew and uncle. Always ready with something funny to say to make you smile or laugh. He loved animals and animals loved him. He had a way with and would make an instant connection and friend animals he encountered. Surely, the animals felt Aaron's gentleness, empathy and nurturing spirit. He was blessed in the way of knowing both his traditional Muscogee ceremonies and Church religion, probably his main thing there was the food.
On April 29th, 1990. Aaron placed his faith in the Lord and was Baptized on May 27th, 1990, by his dad at First Indian Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Liza and Barney Leader, Robert and Amanda Deer. Aaron is survived by parents, Brigita Leader, Shawnee, Michael and Leslie Deer, of Holdenville, companion Tawanna Jones, Sons; Kingston Hvresse (Moon) Leader, Seminole, Baby Drew Wagon, of Poteau. Stepsons; Kevin and Kenan Tyner, Shawnee, Sister-in-law Nyeishaand Richard Caldwell, Oklahoma City and Brother-in-law Juke Jones, Seminole. . His big brother Chris Leader, Shawnee and Little Sis, Brittany Young and spouse, Derrick Hamilton, of Ada, and little brother Caleb Deer of Oklahoma City. And nephews and niece; Malakhi and Helios, Shawnee and Maximus (Max) Caldwell, Oklahoma City, Manuel Gallegos and Mikayla Gellegos, Ada. Numerous relatives and friends.
Aaron was dearly loved and his presence will be deeply missed in the home, and amongst family. At this time our family would like to express our gratitude to all the love, prayers and support we received from our family and friends. We especially want to acknowledge and express our gratitude to the Commercial Brick Plant Managers, Bob, Jimmy, Robert and Brian, for your generosity and being with us through the end.
